**JOB TITLE: Sr. Project Engineering Manager**



**REPORTS TO: Engineering Leader**



**LOCATION: Sanford, NC**





**Core Description:**





To develop, organize, and lead project management for manufacturing at Coty Sanford including the identification of project requirements, establishment of clear and achievable objectives, balancing the competing demands for quality, scope, time and cost, and to adapt the specifications, plans and approach to the different concerns and expectations of the various stakeholders, customers, and users.







**Key Responsibilities:**






+ Develop CAPEX FY plan and deliver capital cash flow full site

+ Develop and manage the engineering project work for manufacturing from scope development through implementation and start up

+ Recommend and purchase packaging and bulk processing equipment

+ Project, construction and cost management for capital projects and initiatives

+ Prepare layouts and supervise installation of machinery

+ Improve the performance and efficiency of machinery while maintaining quality standards

+ Automate packaging processes

+ Promote good safety and housekeeping practices in each production mini-plant

+ Train and develop project engineers

+ Support engineering departmental objectives

+ Perform annual reviews with direct reports

+ Maintain a teamwork atmosphere of trust and cooperation

+ Plan and assign work of subordinate employees

+ Support manufacturing in the training and service of all new equipment purchases and upgrades

+ Manage the project budgets





**Application Pre-Requisites:**






+ BS in engineering (ME/IE/EE preferred)

+ 5+ years' experience in a LEAN cosmetics / packaging environment

+ Full site Capital management experience required

+ Project, construction and cost management experience required

+ Knowledge of manufacturing automation and machine design

+ MBA preferred

+ PMP certification preferred







**Special Skills Required:**






+ Extensive and detailed knowledge and experience with packaging and processing equipment

+ Knowledge of machine controls, PLCs and drives

+ Strong mechanical and electrical ability

+ Strong leadership qualities

+ Excellent interpersonal skills

+ Computer skills including Excel, MS Project, Cad, Solid Works

+ Strong communication skills

+ Technical expert




+ Ability to grasp and implement new technical concepts and methods

+ Ability to create and manage project budgets, constraints, time, and scope changes
